For dogs with a hard bite they are one of the best Review by LeRoy
Grip Economy Glide Weight Durability Playing disc with Pit Bulls or other hard bite dogs can be challenging, most disc are gone almost before you get warmed up. The Hero Super Swirl (SS) bottom die has been revolution for us.
The SS is tough, flies great, and with the bottom die it has contrast in all light conditions. I have not thrown one into the "can't use it any more pile" the only ones I no longer have are ones I have given to someone that has asked how long does that disc last. They do show ware (tooth marks, etc) but have never lost there shape. Other brands (Jawz) have seemed to become flat after some use, which affects the flight of the disc.
With most organizations allowing the use of any disc, we will be using the SS in all future toss and catch events.

Excellent Review by Tim
Economy Glide Weight Durability Grip Maybe it's just the conditions this time of year where I live, but I'm taking 3 different discs to the park these days and more often than not this is the disc I end up throwing.
At 135 grams, it flies beautifully in all but the gustiest conditions. It is stiffer than both the Jawz (131 g) or Jawz Hyperflex (147 g) discs and is about 1/4" larger in diameter. It seems to cut the air a little better and offers a little more distance.
Unfortunately, my dog likes to bring discs back taco-style so it takes her longer to get the HSSBD folded in half and brought back to me. Plus, the grip ring tends to load up with dirt if she decides to lay in the dirt to do her taco folding. But with all her gnashing, this disc has held up extremely well. Even thought it is pricey, I'm definitely getting my moneys worth out of it.
Even if you're not a gearhead about your equipment like me you need to get this disc for no other reason than the bottom dye swirl is so COOL when it flies. It has to be more visible to my dog and that's important because I'm throwing before the sun is up on the weekdays this time of year.
I've tried one of almost everything out there and I will always carry a Hero Super Swirl Bottom Dye in my bag because it is both functional and cool. (Posted on 3/28/09)
