Foster and I have been competing in freestyle flying disc since 2002. I adopted Foster from a local shelter in 2001 specifically for this sport and once I taught Foster his first trick I was hooked on this cool new sport. Initially I had a difficult time throwing the discs, but Foster was so good at catching my poor throws we still scored well early in our disc dogging carrier. Any one can get into this growing sport and have lots of fun. Once my disc skills started to improve I became more competitive in the big tournaments and started getting on the podium three years into sport. I’m still working on improving my disc skills and developing innovative tricks that I can use in the future.Foster: Six year old cattle mix
Nicknames: Flip n Go Foster, Mr. potato head, Mr. dribbles.
Favorite Tricks: Big back vaults, over the body moves, long throws.
Trainer Steve Malmlov: Printing Plant Manager.
Home Town: Lodi, California
Favorite Discs: Hero Type 235: The 235 really helped my accuracy in the toss and fetch. A few extra points can mean the difference between a top three finish and an also ran. Super Hero K9 candy: Wow! This new disc really flies! Let this baby rip, you’ll get more distance and it’s tough enough to take a chomping from the most driven dog.
Favorite Tricks: Brush kick, Flip off the back, Behind the back chest vault.

2006 California State Champion
2006 Skyhoundz SW Regional Champion
