I have been involved in Dogsports and training for the past 13 years as my favorite hobby. I feel that my strength is in working with a diverse range of breeds and I am a good problem solver. I do not proclaim to be an "expert", but with several years of training and experience I enjoy sharing my gained knowledge to help others.

Outside of my career as an Animal Nutritionist, I assist my partner Rick in running “R & R Pet Paradise”, a dog-boarding kennel on our 40-acre property. Rick and I have been fortunate enough to travel all over North America participating in disc dog competitions and meeting many new friends along the way. Most recently I had the chance of a lifetime experience making it to the Semi-finals in the national TV broadcast of “Canada’s Got Talent”, showcasing our disc dog freestyle skills. In my “non-dog” spare time I also enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee and disc golf.
Disc Dog Tips
"Keep your practice sessions short (<2 minutes) and always end on a positive note, leaving your dog wanting more!"
"70% of your practice time should be without your dog. Perfect those throws before you include your dog."
