Matteo Gaddoni
Matteo Gaddoni

Matteo aka Gaddoz always loved the Plastic. He is from Forlì, Italy, and he started playing frisbee when he was a little child and he never stopped since then. In 2002 he discovered there was a full sport world spinning around the disc and he fell in love for the freestyle disc sport.

In 2007 and 2008 he won the European Freestyle Championships in the Open Pairs division, then in 2009 and 2010 he titled twice in a row as World Freestyle Champion. But the disc dog virus was already injected, infact, during the FPA Worlds 2006 helded in Berlin, he had the first chance to see an awesome disc dog performance by Jochen Schleicher. After few years Spike finally stepped into his life and since then he is absolutely committed to the disc dog sport. In 2010 he rescued his second dog: Flower, after a full year of training she is just awesome. Matteo is the founder and the coach of the Hard Disc Team and also the National Coordinator for the Disc Dog Sport of the Libertas CNS, a dog sport organization. Matteo is fully addicted to the mission of spreading the disc dog sport in Italy, in order to promote the sports and his basic rules: safety, fun and love for the dogs.
Disc Dog Tips
"As someone else said: "Play catch. Invent games!" To me it means keep it fun and creative. Watch the other teams, try to learn from everybody, but then.. try to learn from you and your dog."
"But first of all: keep it safe for your dog."
